HarbourCold is Port Otago’s wharf-side cold store facility, operating 24 hours, seven days a week. It is located adjacent to Port Otago’s X & Y wharves in Dunedin and has a capacity of 5,500 tonnes, with a store temperature range of -26°C to 0°C.
The facility complies with all relevant Government regulation and services fishing vessels, as well operating a container packing and warehousing service for import and export clients.

Port Otago operates a second coldstore facility adjacent to Harbourcold, with direct wharf access via Leith Wharf. This coldstore is divided into four rooms and has a capacity of 5,000 tonnes. It is primarily used for fish storage and packing, but is also available for storage of meat and provedoring supplies.
